Thinking globally, acting locally
We aim to raise awareness in the locality of Beaminster and its satellite villages issues relating to climate change, nature and wildlife depletion, and overuse of world resources. We work to find local solutions for how we can all contribute to reduce these impacts.

In its first 5 years BAEG and its volunteers have helped to plant over 3,000 trees and hedgerow plants in public spaces, private gardens and fields around Beaminster and its satellite villages, including Netherbury, Corscombe and Halstock, Broadwindsor and Drimpton. More information here
BAEG's Community fund is now open for applications. By providing small grants to local groups we hope to progress our aim of contributing to responsible stewardship of the world’s resources, and care for our local environment and its species. More information here.
We host a Big Green Day in Beaminster annually, on the last Saturday of each September. This showcases ‘green’ local organisations, businesses and local community groups. For more information see here.
